This holster fits a Ruger MK I, II, III, IV and similar models with up to a 5.5 inch barrel and covers the trigger of your handgun, which prevents accidental misfires and accidents from happening. The MK22 holster is designed to easily slip on and off of your belt with the 3 inch belt loop on the back. Note: This holster is made with Real American leather that requires a break-in period, similar to a new baseball glove. We require that you insert your Ruger and extra Magazine into the holster and mag pouch, and leave them in place for 72 hours so the holster can better form-fit to your exact firearm. It takes 72 hours for your leather holster to bind and form-fit to your exact firearm perfectly. This 72 hour Break-in period is the process for a heavy-duty genuine leather holster. This ensures that your firearm will not come out of your leather holster until you are ready to draw it. At first your firearm may be tight to insert into the holster, however this process will alleviate this and give you a smooth draw. To further break in the holster, you can also remove the firearm and Magazine from the holster, and then gently massage the leather.
